Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Ronbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by tim finnegans. Harvey Dent has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ronbo tries to close the distance and clinch but Dent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dent has had enough of the clinch but Ronbo keeps him there for the moment.
Ronbo keeps control of Dent as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ronbo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dent has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ronbo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dent eats them both and turns towards Ronbo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dent avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ronbo throws a front kick aimed at Dent's knee but Dent avoids it well.
A combination from Ronbo does no damage.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Ronbo.

Ronbo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Ronbo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dent drives through and clinches with Ronbo against the cage.

Ronbo misses with a low kick as Dent jumps back.

Ronbo tries a knee to the head but Dent blocks it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dent throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ronbo tries to clinch but Dent moves out of range.

Dent shoots in looking for a takedown. Ronbo tries to sprawl out of it but Dent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ronbo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ronbo tries to clinch but Dent is having none of it.
Ronbo has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Dent checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ronbo scores with a jab to the head.

Ronbo forces Dent back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dent blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ronbo wants to clinch up but Dent keeps it at a distance.
Ronbo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ronbo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ronbo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Harvey Dent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dent checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ronbo throws a chopping leg kick but Dent manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ronbo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dent circles away quickly and effectively.
Ronbo throws a leg kick that misses.
Ronbo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A left and a right from Dent both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Ronnie Ronbo has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dent takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dent lands a hook that stumbles Ronbo back into the cage. Dent follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ronbo to the canvas! Dent pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ronbo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
