Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rogue Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne has chosen Something in the Way by Nirvana as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four moves in looking to clinch but Wayne pushes him off.
Wayne getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Four shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wayne sprawls well. Wayne wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Four gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Rogue Four will probably get the nod.

and Wayne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wayne is pressed up against the cage. Four has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wayne down to the mat. Wayne avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Four throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wayne was covering up waiting for the punch and Four finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Four keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wayne's head.
Four throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wayne works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Wayne tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Four accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Four postures up in Wayne's guard and throws a big left but Wayne blocks it.
Four wants to pass the guard but Wayne is keeping the position.
Wayne is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
