Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and German Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Super Sharp Shooter - The Ganja Kru . Shephard has chosen K9 Justice as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shephard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ryan Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shephard digs a good hook to Potter's body.
Potter tries for a takedown but Shephard circles away easily
and Shephard counters with a left to the body.
Potter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shephard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Potter takes one to the chin there.
Potter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Shephard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Potter thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Shephard counters with a huge left! Potter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Shephard isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Potter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Shephard!
