Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ban Edsel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Tinnker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edsel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No Sunshine. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tinnker feints and as Edsel raises his hands in defense, Tinnker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Edsel doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Tinnker trying to control the position from guard on top but Edsel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Edsel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tinnker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Tinnker was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Tinnker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tinnker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Edsel keeps working.
Edsel tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Edsel tries to buck Tinnker off but Tinnker is having none of it.

Tinnker decides to stand back up. Tinnker steps back and let's Edsel get back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Edsel is defended easily by Tinnker.

Tinnker wants to control but Edsel is keeping him busy.
Edsel tries to improve position but can't.
Tinnker is looking to take a break and control but Edsel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sam Tinnker has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tinnker pushes Edsel up against the cage in a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Edsel is trying to pull guard but Tinnker has him pressed against the cage.

Tinnker has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Edsel regains guard immediately.

Edsel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tinnker on his heels. He'll look to pass Tinnker's guard now, I'm sure.
Edsel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tinnker's head.

Edsel sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Tinnker prevents Edsel from standing back up.
Tinnker uses his free foot to push down on Edsel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Edsel.
