PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Outfuh Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nir Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nir Sosa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Outfuh Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Blood throws a body punch but Sosa moves out of range.
Blood tries to clinch there but Sosa circles away.
Sosa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Blood lands a slapping body shot.
Blood keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sosa.
Sosa connects with a high kick.


It looks like Outfuh Blood has been cut.
Blood wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A low kick from Blood is predictable there

and Sosa counters with a shoot takedown. Blood fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Blood working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sosa.
Sosa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Blood works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Blood seems keen to control Sosa's posture.

Sosa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sosa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sosa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Outfuh Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blood throws a body punch but Sosa moves out of range.

Sosa shoots in looking for a takedown but Blood manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sosa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Blood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sosa sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Outfuh Blood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A jab from Blood does it's job there.
A right-left combo lands from Sosa.
Blood checks a low kick from Sosa.
Blood looks to score with a jab to the body but Sosa is just out of range.
Blood lands a nice looking body shot.

Sosa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Blood checks a leg kick.
Blood is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sosa throws a big shot that misses.
Blood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blood stuffs the takedown.
Blood looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Outfuh Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nir Sosa.
Blood bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sosa's head backwards.
Sosa cracks Blood with a right hand to the side of the head.

Sosa throws a hook but Blood avoids it easily.
Blood tests Sosa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sosa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sosa throws a leg kick
and Blood counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sosa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Blood works Sosa's body with a nice hook.
A low kick from Sosa misses
and Blood counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blood takes a swing at Sosa's ribcage but misses.
Blood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Blood tries to land a front kick but Sosa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blood throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Blood looks to land a right hand but Sosa moved out of range.
Blood tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sosa was well out of range. Poor timing from Blood.
Sosa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Outfuh Blood will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Blood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blood keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sosa misses with a low kick.
Sosa just misses with a punch to the body.
Blood wants to clinch.
Blood is looking to wear down Sosa with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Blood misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sosa.
Blood throws a leg kick

and Sosa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Sosa is trying to control the action in half guard but Blood is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sosa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sosa is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Blood is looking to improve his position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sosa slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nir Sosa wasn't active enough on the ground.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sosa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Nir Sosa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sosa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blood. That did some damage!
Sosa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Blood looks to score with a jab to the body but Sosa is just out of range.
Sosa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bloods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sosa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blood is looking to stand up but Sosa won't let him.

Blood wanted to stand there but Sosa had control of the position.

Sosa wants to sweep but no luck.
Sosa controls Blood momentarily but Blood frees himself.
Sosa is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nir Sosa.
Sosa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sosa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blood was well out of range. Poor timing from Sosa.
Blood takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sosa avoids the body shot from Blood.
Sosa lands a jab to Blood's midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sosa.
Blood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sosa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sosa moves forwards but Blood connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blood takes a swing at Sosa's ribcage but misses.
Sosa is looking to land body kicks.
Blood on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sosa. Sosa obviously looking to wear him down.
Sosa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Blood takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sosa, right into the meat.
Sosa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blood.
Sosa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Blood takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


Blood is rocked!
Sosa fakes the body blow, causing Blood to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Blood goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nir Sosa!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Nir Sosa made sure he mentioned Conquer, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
