Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres looking to score a takedown here. Carr is defending well but Torres drives through and ends up in Carr's guard.
Torres looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Torres stops Carr from standing up.
Carr is controlling Torres's posture.
Carr wants to stand up but Torres is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres tries to free his leg and advance position but Carr is retaining full guard.
Carr wants to stand but Torres is controlling the position.
Torres trying to control but Carr is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Torres fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carr.
Carr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Carr misses with a head kick.
Torres shoots in for a takedown but Carr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Torres avoids the head kick by Carr.
Torres misses with a looping left.
Carr gets a takedown into half guard.
Torres is looking to get back to full guard here but Carr has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carr tries to stand but Torres is controlling his head.
Carr has hold of Torres's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Torres tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Carr cranks the arm and Torres screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Torres, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
