Pourramenazanali comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - Cryin' Like A Bitch!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pourramenazanali fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gouken, pushing him back against the cage.
Pourramenazanali goes for a takedown attempt but Gouken pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've been told by Pourramenazanali's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Gouken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gouken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pourramenazanali's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gouken connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pourramenazanali scrambles back to his feet.
