PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stan Bojan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bojan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Burn it Down. Hendricks has chosen $50 and a flask of crown as his entrance music. Johny Hendricks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hendricks. Bojan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bojan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hendricks circles away.
Bojan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hendricks swivels and escapes.
Hendricks tries to grapple but his opponent circles

Bojan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hendricks looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hendricks is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bojan connects with a decent elbow.
Bojan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hendricks keeps working.

Johny Hendricks has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hendricks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bojan. That did some damage!
Hendricks throws a shot from downtown. Bojan moves away and avoids it.

Bojan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hendricks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stan Bojan will probably get the nod.

Bojan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hendricks can't fight it off and eventually Bojan manages to take the fight to the floor. Hendricks looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bojan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hendricks avoids it really well and circles away.

Hendricks feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bojan sprawling to the canvas! Bojan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hendricks finish him?!

It looks like Stan Bojan has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Bojan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bojan glances at the clock... BAM! Hendricks nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Bojan crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Bojan is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
