Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dvoroviy Petyx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caique Mafra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petyx comes to the cage accompanied by Green Elephant. Mafra has chosen Sail - Awolnation as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Caique Mafra was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petyx misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mafra shoots in but no luck this time.

and Petyx counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Petyx breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mafra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Petyx counters with a body kick that stops Mafra in his tracks momentarily.
Dvoroviy Petyx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caique Mafra.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mafra or perhaps it was just good defense by Petyx, which made it look bad.

and Petyx counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Petyx.

Petyx wants to stand but Mafra is controlling his posture from full guard.

Mafra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Petyx can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Petyx stands and steps away. Mafra gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Petyx throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mafra shoots in for a takedown but Petyx shows good takedown defense.

Mafra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mafra shoots in for a double leg but Petyx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Petyx shoots in and bounces Mafra off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Petyx has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mafra celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
