PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Divock Origi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Wang Phat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Origi comes to the cage accompanied by Vamos a la playa. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Origi dips to his left and cracks Wang Phat with an uppercut!
Wang Phat throws a sloppy head kick and Origi moves out of range easily.

Origi drops Wang Phat with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wang Phat looks back up at him and smiles so Origi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wang Phat tries to close the distance and clinch but Origi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wang Phat doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Origi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Origi.
A right hand to the body from Origi.
A right hook to the body lands for Origi.
Origi lands an uppercut.
Origi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wang Phats head.
Origi lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Wang Phat is rocked!
Origi leaning his opponent against the cage.
Wang Phat is still on wobbly legs! Can Origi finish him?
Origi softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Origi drops Wang Phat onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Wang Phat is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Wang Phat seems to have recovered his senses.

Origi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wang Phats head.
Origi throws a big uppercut that drops Wang Phat! More strikes from Origi and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wang Phat lies dazed against the cage as Origi celebrates with his cornermen!
