Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joffrey Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dale McCann is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joffrey Baratheon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dale McCann!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baratheon tries to clinch up but McCann circles away and keeps his distance.
McCann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McCann moves into the clinch successfully.
McCann keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Baratheon's efforts to push away.
Baratheon is trying to push McCann away but McCann has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
McCann is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
McCann lands an elbow that stopped Baratheon in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Joffrey Baratheon has been cut.
Baratheon blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McCann lands a right hand.
Stalling in the clinch from McCann.
Baratheon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Baratheon wants to break free but McCann has control.
McCann misses with the head strike.
McCann lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Baratheon wants to break free but McCann has control.
Baratheon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

McCann throws a head punch that misses.

McCann tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Baratheon avoids it.

Baratheon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McCann cracks a nice hook into Baratheon's ribs.
McCann thows a left - swing and a miss!
McCann looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Baratheon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
McCann wants to clinch up but Baratheon keeps it at a distance.
McCann works Baratheon's body with a nice hook.
McCann is looking to score with low kicks.
Some wild striking there from McCann.
Baratheon looking to land some kicks to the body here.

McCann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baratheon circles away quickly and effectively.
McCann takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baratheon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Baratheon throws a combination that misses
and McCann counters with a nice uppercut.

McCann closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McCann is trying to maintain a safe position but Baratheon gets an underhook and turns McCann into the cage.
Baratheon is trying to break free.
Baratheon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
McCann looking to stall.
McCann scores with an uppercut up the middle.

A short right from McCann on the inside.
Baratheon is trying to break free.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McCann.
Baratheon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
McCann is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Baratheon is keeping busy.
McCann tries to land a knee to the head but Baratheon blocks with his arms.
Baratheon wants to get back to striking at distance but McCann won't allow it.
McCann has Baratheon pressed against the cage, preventing Baratheon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Baratheon takes a shot to the head.
McCann is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Baratheon breaks the clinch.
We've been told by Baratheon's head coaches at Dragon Cage Training Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Baratheon has managed to clinch.
McCann has Baratheon pressed against the cage, preventing Baratheon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Baratheon takes a knee to the side of the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baratheon wants to break free but McCann has control.
Baratheon lands with a right to the head.

Baratheon breaks the clinch.
McCann throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baratheon.
McCann throws a shot from downtown. Baratheon moves away and avoids it.
Baratheon tries to close the distance and clinch but McCann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A combination from McCann does no damage.
Some wild striking there from Baratheon.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McCann looks to land a right hand but Baratheon moved out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dale McCann dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joffrey Baratheon's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


McCann dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baratheon throws a series of punches but McCann moves out of range.
Baratheon wants to clinch.
McCann connects with a good right hand that stumbles Baratheon. Baratheon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McCann tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baratheon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baratheon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCann.
Baratheon doesn't manage to clinch there - McCann circles away.
Baratheon misses with a takedown attempt

and McCann counters with a crisp one two that drops Baratheon! McCann thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Baratheon to his feet! Baratheon is in big trouble!


Baratheon is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCann throws an overhand right that lands on Baratheon's shoulder, as Baratheon tries to avoid the shot.
Oh Baratheon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baratheon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCann moves away.
McCann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baratheon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Baratheon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McCann throws a shot to the body.
McCann fakes the body blow, causing Baratheon to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Baratheon goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dale McCann!
Dale McCann seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
