The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romanski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanchez was covering up waiting for the punch and Romanski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Sanchez wants to stand and escape but Romanski is having none of it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Romanski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
