Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Sheedy.
Parsons misses with an attempted mid kick.

Sheedy shoots in and gets a takedown into Parsons's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Parsons throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Sheedy stands and steps away. Parsons gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sheedy throws a sloppy head kick and Parsons moves out of range easily.
Sheedy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parsons shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sheedy pinned against the cage. Sheedy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sheedy tries a head kick but it misses.
Sheedy fails to land with a series of punches.
Sheedy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Parsons looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sheedy is fending him off so far but Parsons persists. Nope, Sheedy circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sheedy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Parsons did well to prevent Sheedy getting side control.

Sheedy moves into full mount! Parsons won't be happy about that!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sheedy lands a big shot there that rocks Parsons but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Sheedy looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Parsons covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
