Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawabata Makoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronson comes to the ring accompanied by Harmonica. Makoto has chosen Have you seen the other side of the sky? as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kawabata Makoto!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Makoto misses.
Makoto misses with a two punch combination.
Makoto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Makoto feints and then cracks Bronson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bronson down.
Bronson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makoto slips a jab and a cross from Bronson.
Bronson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bronson missing with a left hand there. Makoto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Makoto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Makoto cracks the inside of Bronson's front leg.
Makoto has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bronson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bronson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bronson avoids the head kick by Makoto.
Makoto throws a body shot but no joy.
Bronson checks a low kick from Makoto.
Makoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bronson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Makoto works over Bronson's head and body with a nice combination.
Makoto is looking to score with low kicks.
Bronson misses with a body shot.
Makoto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bronson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Makoto manages to avoid it.

Makoto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Makoto scores with a three punch combo!
Makoto tries to bum rush Bronson with a series of wild strikes but Bronson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bronson drives through and clinches with Makoto against the ropes.
Makoto tries to land knees in the clinch but Bronson avoids the damage to the body.
Bronson blocking some punches.
Bronson lands with a light punch inside.
Bronson lands a shot to the body.
Bronson blocks an uppercut.
Bronson tries to work over Makoto's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bronson.
Makoto misses with the head strike.
Bronson has a couple of punches blocked by Makoto.
Makoto working aggressively here.
Makoto blocks a body shot from Bronson.
Bronson lands with a short shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makoto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bronson is defending well for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Makoto misses with a hook to the ribs.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Bronson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Makoto is rocked!
Bronson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Makoto backwards.
Makoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Bronson finish him?
Makoto misses with a punch to the body.
Makoto blocks an uppercut.
Bronson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bronson creates a bit of distance and cracks Makoto with a big uppercut! Makoto goes down! The referee pushes Bronson away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Makoto make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Bronson takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Charles Bronson!
Charles Bronson thanked the fans post fight for their support.
Kawabata Makoto spoke after the fight, saying 'Just a little climate change. Nothing to worry about.'.
