Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Fuentes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath scores with a leg kick.

Fuentes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Heath to the ground. Fuentes is now in Heath's guard.
Fuentes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Fuentes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Heath really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Heath moves into the clinch.
Heath tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fuentes's elbow.

Fuentes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fuentes postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heath has his feet on Fuentes's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Fuentes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heath swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Heath pushes Fuentes off and gets back to his feet.
Fuentes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heath swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heath goes for a double leg but Fuentes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fuentes continues to drive forward.
Heath lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fuentes backwards.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Fuentes.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Heath just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fuentes's brow.

Fuentes pulls Heath into guard.
Heath postures up in Fuentes's guard and throws a big left but Fuentes blocks it.
Heath wants to control from the top but Fuentes keeps moving.

Heath will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fuentes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Heath's guard.
Heath throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Heath has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fuentes is working away from the top position though.
