Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sarkis Zakoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasputin Erasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erasmus has chosen Rasputin as his entrance music. Rasputin Erasmus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rasputin Erasmus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erasmus scores with a hook.
Zakoyan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Erasmus sends Zakoyan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Erasmus is motioning to the referee to let Zakoyan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zakoyan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Erasmus was covering up waiting for the punch and Zakoyan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sarkis Zakoyan.

Zakoyan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Erasmus's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Erasmus throws a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Erasmus.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Erasmus throws a low kick but Zakoyan avoids it.
Erasmus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The strikes coming from Zakoyan are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Zakoyan is chipping away with strikes.
Zakoyan in side control, throwing shots but Erasmus defends.
You can see the frustration on Erasmus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zakoyan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Erasmus is staying active underneath Zakoyan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Zakoyan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Erasmus's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rasputin Erasmus will probably get the nod.

Erasmus drops Zakoyan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zakoyan looks back up at him and smiles so Erasmus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Erasmus is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Zakoyan is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Erasmus engages and cracks Zakoyan with a massive lead left hook - Zakoyan tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Erasmus is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
