Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alfonso Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Smith!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Aaron Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wall is on top in guard.
Wall wants to stand and escape but instead Smith has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Aaron Smith wasn't active enough on the ground.

Wall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace.

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wall is looking to regain half guard here but Smith keeps moving and retains side control.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Wall tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Smith creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wall sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Smith decides to stand back up.
Wall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Smith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Wall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Smith prevents Wall from getting back to his feet.
Smith won't allow Wall to sweep him here.
Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.

Smith is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Aaron Smith was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Wall tries to sprawl but Smith drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith seems to be working for a kimura but Wall defends the submission attempt.
Smith throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Smith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wall regains full guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Wall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wall goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward.
Smith is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Smith takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Aaron Smith wasn't active enough on the ground.
Smith tries to clinch there but Wall circles away.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Smith. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Smith gets a clinch.
Wall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Wall is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Smith turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Smith manages to end up in side control.
Smith tries to advance to mount but can't.

Smith decides to stand back up.
Wall is looking to clinch.
Wall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Smith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith is trying to control. Wall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Smith is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smith.
Alfonso Wall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Aaron Smith is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wall is refusing to be controlled, as Smith sits in half guard.

Aaron Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
