Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kagami Taiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kagami Taiga was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kagami Taiga!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper throws a sloppy head kick and Taiga moves out of range easily.
Taiga blocks a head kick by Harper.
Harper throws a front kick that sends Taiga stumbling back into the cage.
Taiga darts in looking for a takedown but Harper gets double underhooks and turns Taiga into the cage.
Taiga slows down the pace here.
Taiga tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Harper just stands there and leans against the cage.
Taiga misses with a punch to the body.
Taiga trying to stall but Harper improves his position.
Taiga tries a body shot but Harper blocks it.

Taiga successfully pulls guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Harper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Harper wants to control from the top but Taiga keeps moving.

Taiga tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harper is pushing down on Taiga's leg trying to pass to half guard. Taiga is fighting to maintain full guard but Harper has managed to sneak the leg through.
Taiga moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Harper has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Taiga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Harper throws a big elbow that misses.

Harper tries to pass the half guard into mount. Taiga knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taiga can do anything to dispel that myth.

Taiga is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Taiga is trying to escape the mount.

Taiga wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harper.

A relieved looking Jack Harper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
