Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Anywhere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frikkie Oelofsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Anywhere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frikkie Oelofsen!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oelofsen gets a double leg takedown into Anywhere's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Anywhere has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oelofsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Anywhere is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Anywhere is pulling down on Oelofsen's head. It's preventing any offense from Oelofsen, at least for the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Mr Anywhere wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Oelofsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anywhere paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oelofsen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Oelofsen is looking to clinch but Anywhere is avoiding it.

Oelofsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oelofsen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oelofsen keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Anywhere tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Oelofsen is able to avoid easily.
Anywhere could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oelofsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Oelofsen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Oelofsen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anywhere tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Oelofsen is in Anywhere's guard.

Oelofsen tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Anywhere.
Anywhere is looking for a sweep. Oelofsen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Anywhere is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Anywhere will probably get the nod.

Oelofsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Anywhere circles away.
Oelofsen moves out of range of the body kick from Anywhere.
Anywhere throws a sloppy head kick and Oelofsen moves out of range easily.
Oelofsen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oelofsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Frikkie Oelofsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oelofsen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Anywhere did well to prevent Oelofsen getting side control.

Anywhere is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Oelofsen pulls his head out easily.

Anywhere makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Anywhere.

Anywhere is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Anywhere is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Oelofsen is aware though and is defending well.
Oelofsen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Anywhere seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Anywhere escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oelofsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Anywhere is looking to sweep but instead, Oelofsen has passed into half guard.

Mr Anywhere dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Oelofsen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Anywhere is controlling Oelofsen's posture.

Anywhere looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Oelofsen has picked Anywhere up and slammed him! Anywhere can't keep hold of the triangle and Oelofsen manages to pass to side control!
Oelofsen tries to stand but Anywhere is controlling his head.
Anywhere manages to get back to half guard.

Anywhere wants to control but Oelofsen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Anywhere slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Anywhere wants to sweep here but Oelofsen controlling him for the moment.

Anywhere wants to sweep but no luck.

Anywhere looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Oelofsen is fighting to break Anywhere's control of his arms but Anywhere is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Anywhere has control of Oelofsen's left arm, preventing Oelofsen from doing any damage.
Mr Anywhere overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frikkie Oelofsen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Anywhere tries a low kick but Oelofsen avoids it.

Oelofsen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anywhere was covering up waiting for the punch and Oelofsen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anywhere is on top in guard.

Anywhere wants to pass the guard but Oelofsen is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anywhere slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Anywhere tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anywhere has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anywhere is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Oelofsen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mr Anywhere showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anywhere, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
