Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pedruanes Higuan!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swanson clinches up against the cage.
Higuan takes a knee to the side of the body.
Higuan managing to block the knees to the body from Swanson.

Swanson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Higuan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Swanson to the mat. Swanson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Higuan cracks Swanson with a solid left hand.
Higuan is in close to Swanson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Swanson wants to get back to his feet but Higuan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Higuan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Higuan postures up and lands a big shot to Swanson's brow.
Higuan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Swanson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Higuan gets tackled into the cage by Swanson. Swanson maintains the clinch.

Higuan takes a knee right on the jaw!

Higuan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Higuan manages to end up in side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Swanson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Higuan scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Swanson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Higuan can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
