Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mell Sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dennis Stuart has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dennis Stuart seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sabu gets a double leg takedown into Stuart's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stuart wants to improve his position but instead Sabu has moved into half guard.

Stuart pushes Sabu off looking to stand but Sabu dives back in and keeps control.
Stuart tries to get to full guard but Sabu has control of the leg.

Sabu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stuart defends it well.
Stuart moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stuart wants to stand but Sabu is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stuart is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sabu defends it well.

Sabu tries to get to full guard but Stuart has control of the leg.
Stuart drops an elbow to the side of Sabu's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stuart has his foot on Sabu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sabu works his way back into a safe position though.

Stuart isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sabu stacks Stuart on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sabu!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stuart tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sabu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sabu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Stuart is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sabu has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sabu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stuart has escaped the position, nice work there.
Stuart is looking for a sweep.

Sabu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stuart knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stuart sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Stuart is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sabu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sabu's back!
Stuart controlling well, preventing Sabu from escaping the position.
Sabu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stuart softening up his opponent with strikes here.
You can see the frustration on Sabu's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
