The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabbit falls off balance throwing a combination

and Marron counters with a shoot takedown. Rabbit fights it but they end up in guard.
Rabbit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Marron lands a couple of digs.
Marron works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Marron thows a huge punch but Rabbit dodges it nicely.
Marron is looking to advance position but Rabbit won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marron connects with a nice short shot to Rabbit's temple.
Well, if Marron is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Marron's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Marron seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rabbit for as long as he can get away with.
Marron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Marron shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rabbit manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rabbit utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Marron has an Americana. Rabbit didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marron is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marron hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
