The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veira doesn't manage to clinch there - Asamoah circles away.

Veira tries to clinch up but Asamoah circles away and keeps his distance.
Asamoah tries to bum rush Veira with a series of wild strikes but Veira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Asamoah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Veira tries to avoid it but Asamoah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Veira to the ground. Veira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Asamoah drives through with a takedown into Veira's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Veira wants to stand and escape but Asamoah is having none of it.
