Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bert Starius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stride Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bert Starius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stride Orlov!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Orlov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Starius, pushing him back against the cage.
Orlov tries a body shot but Starius blocks it.
Orlov misses with a punch on the inside.
Starius lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Orlov backwards.
Orlov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Starius misses with the head strike.
Starius throws a head punch that misses.
Orlov has Starius pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Orlov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Starius tumbling to the mat - Orlov dives into Starius's guard.
Orlov throws a big right hand that misses.
Starius keeping moving, preventing Orlov from controlling successfully.
Orlov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Orlov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Orlov looking to sit in guard and control but Starius gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Orlov can't keep his opponent in guard - Starius advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Starius perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Starius trying to control from half guard but Orlov is working away.
Orlov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bert Starius.
Orlov clinches up with Starius and pushes him back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Starius.
Starius is looking to control Orlov's arms but Orlov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Starius has his back to the cage.
A short body shot lands from Starius as the two fighters clinch.
Orlov misses with some punches.
Orlov blocks a body shot from Starius.
Orlov swings wildly with an uppercut but Starius uses good head movement to avoid it.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Starius.
Orlov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Starius prevents it.
Starius gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Orlov.
Bert Starius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stride Orlov.
Orlov has a couple of punches blocked by Starius.
A nice right hand lands inside from Orlov.
Orlov will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Starius up against the cage.
Orlov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Orlov can't find room to land a body shot as Starius controls the action.
Starius's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Orlov is trying to stall.

Orlov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Starius avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Orlov.
Starius tries to throw a body punch but Orlov avoids it by throwing Starius back against the cage.

It looks like Stride Orlov has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is keeping an eye on Orlov - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Orlov has picked Starius up - he's going for a ride! Orlov dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Starius tries to get to full guard but Orlov has control of the leg.
Starius is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stride Orlov dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Stride Orlov's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Orlov throws a leg kick but Starius sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Orlov misses with a right hand
and Starius counters with a nice uppercut.
Orlov throws a looping overhand right but Starius ducks down to avoid it.
Orlov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Starius on the side of the head.
Starius loads up on a big right hand but Orlov slips the punch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Orlov, right into the meat.
Orlov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Starius throws a hook but Orlov blocks it.
Starius dips to his left and cracks Orlov with an uppercut!
Starius gets caught flat footed, as Orlov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Starius tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Orlov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Starius looking for a sweep. Not yet Starius, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orlov wants to pass the guard but Starius is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bert Starius wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Orlov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Starius finds it's way round the side to connect with Orlov's head.
That has opened up Stride Orlov's cut even more.
The fighters circling - Orlov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stride Orlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orlov misses with a two punch combination.
Orlov lands a really nice looking cross but Starius seems unphased.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Starius keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bert Starius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Starius connects with a jab.
Starius looks to throw the jab but Orlov is out of range.
A shot to the body from Orlov misses
and Starius counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Orlov! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Starius!
