The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cage. Cage obviously looking to wear him down.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Cage's shoulder, as Cage tries to avoid the shot.

and Cage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cage lands with a nice body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Cage finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Alexander Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cage cracks Smith on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Smith falls backwards against the cage. Cage follows up with more strikes that drop Smith to his knees. Cage keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Smith! This one is all over!
