Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darren Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Brown!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Doyle has Brown pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Doyle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brown tumbling to the mat - Doyle dives into Brown's guard.

Doyle wants to stand but Brown has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Doyle stands and steps away. Brown gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Doyle connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple.

Doyle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Doyle eventually gives up the hold.

Brown felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Doyle is looking for a kimura but Brown is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Doyle to get the leverage.

Doyle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
