Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roy Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Queen has chosen Fat Joe - Money Over Bitches [Feat Too $hort & TA] as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Pitbull!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Queen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queen takes a swing at Pitbull's ribcage but misses.
Pitbull throws a hook but Queen avoids it easily.
Queen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pitbull looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Queen punishes Pitbull's body with a nice straight punch.
Queen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pitbull.
Queen cracks Pitbull with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pitbull fails to land with a series of punches.
Queen tries to land a body kick
enabling Pitbull to counter with a crisp jab.
Queen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pitbull moves out of range of the strikes.
Pitbull lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Queen moves out of range as Pitbull strikes.
Queen misses with a head kick.
Queen swings for the body but Pitbull moves out of range.
Queen cracks the inside of Pitbull's front leg.
Queen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pitbull throws out the jab.
Pitbull pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Queen back to the cage. Pitbull follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pitbull lands a nice shot to the body.
Pitbull jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Pitbull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Queen moves away.
Pitbull throws a hook to the side of Queen's head but Queen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pitbull avoids a kick to the body.
Queen slips under a jab.
Queen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pitbull manages to avoid it.
Pitbull walks forward, straight into a front kick from Queen.
Oliver Queen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Queen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Pitbull counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Queen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pitbull in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Queen is trying to control the position but Pitbull postures up.
Queen wants to control but Pitbull passes easily into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Queen wants to get back to full guard.
Pitbull thows a huge punch but Queen dodges it nicely.

Pitbull prevents Queen from improving his position.
Pitbull lands strikes from half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pitbull connects with a nice short shot to Queen's temple.
Queen wants to improve his position but Pitbull is controlling well.
Queen is trying to maintain the position but Pitbull is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Queen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Queen working for submissions but it's allowed Pitbull to get to half guard.

Queen is looking for a sweep. Pitbull is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Queen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pitbull scores with a couple of nice shots.

Pitbull stands up over Queen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Queen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pitbull manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Pitbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Queen sprawls well. He's pushed Pitbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Queen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pitbull changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Queen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pitbull swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pitbull scores with a jab. Queen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pitbull cracks Queen with an open hand slap.
Pitbull will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pitbull throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Queen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Queen's corner calls for a 1-2. Queen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Queen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roy Pitbull. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pitbull lands a hook that snaps the head of Queen backwards.
Pitbull prevents a body shot from Queen.

Pitbull pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pitbull takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Pitbull throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Queen escapes and throws Pitbull's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pitbull takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Queen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Pitbull is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Queen off and has taken his back!
Queen is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Pitbull off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
