The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayanagi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haraldsson manages to avoid it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Takayanagi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Takayanagi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haraldsson's waist but Haraldsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takayanagi off to one side.
