The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azhiev with a poor takedown
and Brava counters with a thumping low kick.

Brava closes the distance and pushes Azhiev back into the cage.
Brava throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Azhievs head.

Azhiev tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Azhiev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brava walks away with a smile on his face. Azhiev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zica Brava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anzhor Azhiev.

Brava darts in and clinches Azhiev up against the cage.
Azhiev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brava walks away with a smile on his face. Azhiev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brava gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Azhiev tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brava just stands there and leans against the cage.

Brava will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Azhiev up against the cage.

Brava breaks from the clinch.

and Brava counters with a nice kick to the body.

Brava cracks Azhiev with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Azhiev looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brava finish him?

Brava grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Azhiev takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Brava cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
