Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Speed Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Stith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon Stith is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Speed Punch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Stith!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stith as he avoids it easily.
Punch shoots in and drives through. Stith sprawls well.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stith. Punch shrugs it off though.
Punch tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Punch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stith swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Speed Punch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stith shoots in looking for a takedown. Punch tries to sprawl out of it but Stith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Punch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick misses from Stith.
Punch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stith as he avoids it easily.
Stith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Punch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Punch fails with a takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stith. Punch does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stith closes the distance and clinches.
Stith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Punch is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stith pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stith is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Punch is defending well.

Stith breaks from the clinch.
Stith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Punch pinned against the cage. Punch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A jab from Stith misses.

Punch closes the distance and clinches.
Punch wants a takedown.

Stith jumps guard but Punch stands there with Stith around his waist. Stith gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stith fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stith is trying to pull guard but Punch turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Punch tries for a takedown but Stith manages to get underhooks.
Punch is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Punch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stith just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A slapping body kick lands there for Stith.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Punch gets tackled into the cage by Stith. Stith maintains the clinch.
Stith jumps guard but Punch turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Punch prevents a takedown attempt there.

Stith is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Punch to keep the fight standing.
Stith looks winded!
Punch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stith just stands there and leans against the cage.
Stith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stith wants a takedown but no success here.
Stith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Punch gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Punch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stith smiles and moves away.
Stith wants to clinch up but Punch keeps it at a distance.

Punch moves in looking to clinch but Stith pushes him off.
Stith tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Punch counters by moving into the clinch.
Stith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Stith prevents a takedown attempt there.
Punch is trying to break free.

Stith jumps guard and drags Punch to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Stith had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Punch defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Punch postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Stith dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Stith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Punch moves away.
Stith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Punch swivels and escapes.

Punch throws a head kick but Stith moves out of range.
Punch fails to land with a series of punches.

Punch darts in and clinches Stith up against the cage.
Stith tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Punch just stands there and leans against the cage.

Speed Punch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Stith.
Punch goes for a takedown attempt but Stith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Punch misses with a body kick.
Punch walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Punch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Punch circles away quickly and effectively.
Stith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Punch tries for a takedown but Stith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Punch shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stith lands with an uppercut that bounces Punch off the cage and back into range.
Stith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Punch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stith.

Punch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stith avoids a kick to the body.
Stith has a takedown stuffed.
Stith is breathing heavily.
Stith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Punch but Punch pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stith is defended easily by Punch.
Punch misses with a series of wild punches.
Brandon Stith seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Punch throws a sloppy head kick and Stith moves out of range easily.

Punch moves in looking to clinch but Stith pushes him off.
Stith wants to clinch.
Stith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Punch swivels and escapes.

Punch drives through and clinches with Stith against the cage.
Stith tries to work over Punch's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Punch drags the fight down to the ground.
Stith trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Punch manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Stith wants to sweep but no luck.

Punch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Punch has managed to get both his arms back between Stith's legs - danger averted.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Punch stands up and waves to Stith to follow him.
A head kick misses from Punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Speed Punch will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Stith misses with a double jab.
Punch throws a leg kick but Stith checks it.
Punch looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stith is fending him off so far but Punch persists. Nope, Stith circles away and we're back to standing.
Punch shoots in for a takedown but Stith shows good takedown defense.
Punch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stith.
Horrible takedown attempt by Punch or perhaps it was just good defense by Stith, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Speed Punch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stith leaves Punch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stith throws a shot to the body.
Stith goes for a double leg but Punch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Punch continues to drive forward.
Stith takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Punch struggles to land a body shot inside as Stith controls his hands.
Stith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Punch after a bit of a struggle.
Punch is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stith gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Stith has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Punch avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Stith stops a takedown attempt from Punch.
Punch prevents the takedown attempt.
Stith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Punch pulls his leg out and moves away.

Stith is trying to drag Punch to the mat but Punch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Stith manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Punch trying to control the position from guard on top but Stith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stith looking to control but Punch passes into half guard.

Stith looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Punch wants to take a breather but Stith is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Speed Punch.
I think Punch has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
