Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cole Hardman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent Boyette will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cole Hardman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trent Boyette!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyette tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boyette moves in looking to clinch but Hardman pushes him off.
Boyette tries to clinch up but Hardman circles away and keeps his distance.
Hardman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hardman dives in and grabs Boyette's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boyette pushes down on Hardman's head and hops out.
Boyette tries to clinch but Hardman moves out of range.
Boyette lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Cole Hardman has been cut.
Boyette moves away from the strike by Hardman.
Hardman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hardman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Boyette wants to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyette pushes Hardman off looking to stand but Hardman dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Hardman looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hardman is nestled in close to Boyette, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hardman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Boyette tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hardman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hardman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boyette looks winded!
Boyette seems a little lost for a moment, as Hardman dominates the positioning.
Hardman scores with punches from side control.
Hardman lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hardman is chipping away with strikes.
Hardman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hardman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Boyette's shoulder. That is not cool.

Hardman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hardman in side control lands a decent elbow.
Boyette is trying to get back to his feet.
Hardman just content to control the position.
Hardman lands some shots froms side control.
Hardman moves into full mount!
Boyette is bucking up trying to escape but Hardman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Boyette is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hardman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hardman working for a guillotine from mount but Boyette is in no mood to give up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boyette is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hardman lands with some strikes.
Hardman lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Boyette takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hardman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hardman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hardman wants to take a breather but Boyette is having none of it.

Hardman is trying to work for a kimura but Boyette is defending well.
Boyette wants to get back to his feet.
Hardman slips a nice elbow through Boyette's hands, connecting with Boyette's forehead.

Hardman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boyette is just riding it out for now. Hardman eventually gives up the hold.

Boyette is breathing heavily.

Hardman slips a nice elbow through Boyette's hands, connecting with Boyette's forehead.
Hardman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hardman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boyette with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hardman connects with a nice short shot to Boyette's temple.
Hardman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Boyette is rocked!
Hardman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Boyette is still in real trouble! Can Hardman finish him?
Boyette on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hardman scores with a big shot! Boyette's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Boyette! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
