The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watford has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Watford there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Ceejay Watford has been cut.
Watford throws a wild hook but Diaz just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Watford gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Diaz raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Diaz!
Nick Diaz decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
