The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace tries for a takedown but Bulanov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bulanov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bulanov has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bulanov is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Wallace is forced to tap! Great finish!
