Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Marshall Lee and Riley Lewis. This should be a great matchup!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Marshall Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Riley Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lewis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lewis takes the fight into the clinch.
Lewis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lee avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lee is working for takedown but Lewis is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lewis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lee to keep the fight standing.

Lewis is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lewis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lewis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lewis has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

Lee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Lewis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lewis has Lee in his guard.

Lewis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Lewis up and slammed him! Lewis can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control!

Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Lewis is defending well.
Lewis is looking to reverse the position.

Lee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lewis manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lewis has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis stops Lee from passing to mount.

Lee swings around for an armbar but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard.

Lewis can't keep his opponent in guard - Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Lewis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lewis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
Lee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lewis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lewis told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Lewis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lee is stalling here. Lewis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lewis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Lewis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Lewis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lee!

Lee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Lee looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Lewis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lewis is working for a kimura but Lee is defending it quite comfortably.

Lewis is working for a submission of some sort.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Lewis is very close to passing his half guard.

Lee tries to get to full guard but Lewis has control of the leg.
Lee manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well.
Lee is trying to hold Lewis in close to prevent damage but Lewis has managed to pass into half guard.
Lee is trying to get back to full guard.

Lee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lewis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lewis's back!

Lewis can't escape the position.
Lewis keeps trying to improve his position.

Lee working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Lewis is doing well to defend. Lee seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Lewis is forced to tap and this one is over!
