Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jewell Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howet Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howet Howard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howard drives through with a takedown into Marquez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Howard wants to pass the guard but Marquez is keeping the position.
Marquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Howard slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Howard tries to free his leg and advance position but Marquez is retaining full guard.
Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marquez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Howard slips nicely into half guard.
Howard tries to stand and escape but Marquez is controlling the position.

Marquez is trying to control but Howard manages to pass to mount!

Howard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Marquez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Marquez shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howard lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Marquez hang on?
Howard wants to take his opponent's back but Marquez doesn't allow it.

Howard looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Howard tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Howard prevents Marquez from getting the reversal.
Howard scoring with strikes but Marquez is staying in there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Howard lands a couple of good shots and Marquez has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marquez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howard on the ground.
Howard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Howard is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Marquez won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Howard off his unconscious opponent!
