Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunner Harris!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris swings for the body but Halo moves out of range.
Halo misses with a few strikes there.
Harris wants to clinch up but Halo keeps it at a distance.
Harris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Halo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Halo lands a lovely overhand right.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harris is defended easily by Halo.
Gunner Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Halo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ken Halo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Harris takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ken Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunner Harris.
Sloppy strikes from Harris. Those never looked like landing.
Harris swinging wildly here.
Some bone on bone action there as Halo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Harris misses with a wild body shot.
Halo lands a right hook to the body.
Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Halo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Halo sizes up Harris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Halo closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Harris scores with a takedown into Halo's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Harris preventing the sweep.
Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Halo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Harris sitting in guard here, content to control.
Harris looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gunner Harris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Harris misses with a wild combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Harris closes the distance and pushes Halo back into the cage.
Halo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Halo misses with a punch to the body.

Harris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harris is trying hard to land a takedown here. Halo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Halo throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Harris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Halo's head coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Harris closes the distance but Halo moves to the side
and Halo finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Halo lands a front kick.
Halo sizes up Harris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Halo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Harris looks winded!
Halo lands a jab.
Halo connects with a body shot that sends Harris's belly button to the back.
Halo lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Halo jabs Harris to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Halo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Harris covering up! Halo comes in with a big uppercut and Harris goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ken Halo!
Ken Halo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
