Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Momoshiro Kitsune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitsune's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 僕はミス・テイク~. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Momoshiro Kitsune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Luiz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kitsune.

Kitsune shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Luiz's guard.
Luiz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Luiz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luiz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kitsune trying to control but Luiz is working from the bottom.
Luiz has Kitsune pulled in close to control his posture.
Luiz told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Luiz manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Kitsune has Luiz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Luiz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Luiz prevents the takedown attempt.

Luiz gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Luiz thows a huge punch but Kitsune dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luiz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kitsune with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kitsune gets full guard.
Luiz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kitsune is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kitsune controls Luiz momentarily but Luiz frees himself.
Luiz stays in close to Kitsune's body and controls the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. David Luiz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kitsune tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Luiz defends well and Kitsune ends up having to push Luiz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Momoshiro Kitsune. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kitsune is fighting off a takedown attempt but Luiz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kitsune to the mat. Kitsune regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Luiz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kitsune's head.
Kitsune is striking but Luiz is not phased and passes to half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luiz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kitsune knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kitsune wants to stand back up but Luiz manages to pass into side control.
Luiz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Luiz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Kitsune manages to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kitsune trying to control but Luiz postures up.
Kitsune tries to roll over but Luiz keeps him under control.
Luiz controlling the action here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Luiz is looking to take a break and control but Kitsune is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Luiz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kitsune is looking for a sweep. Luiz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kitsune wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Luiz.

Luiz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Luiz scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Luiz has clasped his hands together around Kitsune's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Kitsune is not content to let Luiz control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Luiz is putting a hurting on Kitsune here, landing some big shots from side control.
Kitsune wants to control but Luiz postures up.
Kitsune is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Luiz has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A control attempt from Kitsune but he's now mounted!
Luiz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Luiz scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kitsune?
Kitsune flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Kitsune is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kitsune is squirming around, avoiding Luiz's attempts to control the action.
Kitsune is looking to improve his position but Luiz isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Luiz dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Luiz instigates a clinch.

Luiz gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Luiz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Luiz lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kitsune regains full guard. Nicely done.
Luiz landing with the ground and pound.

Luiz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kitsune has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Luiz is looking to defend but Kitsune has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Luiz! Kitsune pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Luiz taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Momoshiro Kitsune!
A very excited looking Momoshiro Kitsune made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
