Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ranger De La Vergne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Broderick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Vergne's entrance music is Immigrant Song. A fine choice. Kieran Broderick is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Vergne doesn't manage to clinch there - Broderick circles away.
De La Vergne shoots in but Broderick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
De La Vergne wants to clinch.
De La Vergne shoots in for a takedown but Broderick shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
De La Vergne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Broderick swivels and escapes.

De La Vergne shoots in looking for a takedown. Broderick tries to sprawl out of it but De La Vergne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Broderick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Broderick moves in looking to clinch but De La Vergne pushes him off.
Broderick throws a leg kick but De La Vergne moved away.

De La Vergne tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Broderick smiles and moves away.

Broderick misses with a jab, cross combination.
De La Vergne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
De La Vergne circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Broderick jabs De La Vergne to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Broderick throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

De La Vergne tries to close the distance and clinch but Broderick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Broderick moves in looking to clinch but De La Vergne pushes him off.
Broderick misses with a double jab
and De La Vergne counters with a left and a right that stings Broderick.
Broderick goes for a double leg but De La Vergne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as De La Vergne continues to drive forward.

De La Vergne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
De La Vergne circles away from the clinch attempt.
De La Vergne throws a sloppy head kick and Broderick moves out of range easily.
De La Vergne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Broderick avoids it really well and circles away.

Broderick clinches.
De La Vergne is trying to pull guard but Broderick has him pressed against the cage.

De La Vergne trying to control the position but instead, Broderick has worked for underhooks and has pushed De La Vergne into the cage.
Broderick lands a right hand.
De La Vergne prevents Broderick from breaking the clinch.

Broderick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Broderick closes the distance and pushes De La Vergne back into the cage.
Broderick lands a left hand.
De La Vergne trying to control the position but instead, Broderick has worked for underhooks and has pushed De La Vergne into the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Broderick pulls guard successfully.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Broderick pushes De La Vergne off and scrambles back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Broderick lands a left hand that snaps the head of De La Vergne backwards.

De La Vergne tries to pull guard but Broderick forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Oh De La Vergne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Broderick lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Broderick unloads with a big right hand that wobbles De La Vergne! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Broderick is unloading with more strikes now! De La Vergne drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kieran Broderick!
A relieved looking Kieran Broderick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Ranger De La Vergne spoke after the fight, saying 'C'était un grand match, mais malheureusement j'ai perdu'.
