Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Long Mejia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and San Mandzusk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). San Mandzusk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Long Mejia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, San Mandzusk!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mandzusk is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mejia's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mandzusk is thwarting Mejia's attempts to control the position.

Mandzusk is working for a submission of some sort.
Mandzusk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mejia knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mejia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mandzusk's guard.
Mandzusk pulls Mejia in to control the position.
Mandzusk is trying to control the position but Mejia postures up.
Mandzusk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

OK we're going to have a standup here. San Mandzusk hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Mandzusk feints and as Mejia raises his hands in defense, Mandzusk changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mejia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mandzusk defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mandzusk lands a couple of elbows.

Mejia thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mejia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mejia has his foot on Mandzusk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mandzusk works his way back into a safe position though.

Mandzusk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mejia throwing short punches from the bottom.

Mejia manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mandzusk has clasped his hands together around Mejia's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Mandzusk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mandzusk is pressing down on Mejia's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mejia is holding on for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but San Mandzusk will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mandzusk is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Mejia is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

It looks like Long Mejia has been cut.
Mandzusk postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Mejia covers up, he's hurt! Mandzusk keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Mandzusk and the ref steps in to end the fight! Mandzusk can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). San Mandzusk!
