Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Mewes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald NcDemomnd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). NcDemomnd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Baader-Meinhof Blues. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

NcDemomnd darts in and clinches Mewes up against the cage.
NcDemomnd tries a body shot but Mewes blocks it.
NcDemomnd looking to slow down the pace here.
Mewes wants a takedown but no success here.
Mewes presses NcDemomnd against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Mewes can't get the takedown.
Mewes keeps control of NcDemomnd as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mewes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mewes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by NcDemomnd after a bit of a struggle.

Mewes drops down looking for an ankle pick but NcDemomnd pulls his leg out and moves away.
NcDemomnd tries to close the distance and clinch but Mewes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
NcDemomnd dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mewes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around NcDemomnd's waist but NcDemomnd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mewes off to one side.
We've been told by Mewes's head coaches at The Boom Boom Room that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mewes moves out of range of the leg kick from NcDemomnd.

Mewes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mewes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Well, if Mewes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
NcDemomnd tries to kick Mewes off but Mewes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
NcDemomnd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mewes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

NcDemomnd pushes Mewes off but Mewes dives into side control.
NcDemomnd being controlled for a moment.
NcDemomnd tries to bench press Mewes off him but Mewes keeps the position.
NcDemomnd pushes Mewes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mewes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

NcDemomnd wants to get back to his feet but Mewes is dominant here and he's now got NcDemomnd's back!
NcDemomnd is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Mewes is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. NcDemomnd defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

In his post fight interview, Jason Mewes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
