Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rumble Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lord comes to the cage accompanied by Let's get ready to Rumble by Jock Jams. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves closes the distance looking to clinch

and Lord counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Alves keeping full guard, as Lord tries to pass.
Lord controlling from the top position.
Lord pushes down on Alves's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lord tries to pass the half guard into mount. Alves knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lord works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lord with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Lord content just to control the position here.

Lord can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alves is looking to escape.
Alves is looking to improve his position but Lord isn't that keen on the idea.
Lord sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lord moves to back control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alves is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lord gets his way!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Lord. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Alves is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Lord off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lord is looking for the choke from the back position but Alves is controlling his hands well.

Lord is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Alves has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Lord has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Alves taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Lord doesn't care though - he's delighted!
