Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragan Law!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafinha Capoeira!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law misses with a combination
and Capoeira counters with a straight right hand.
Capoeira cracks Law with a good jab.
Law shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Law takes a swing at Capoeira's ribcage but misses.
Law shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Capoeira but Capoeira pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Law takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Capoeira scores with a hook to the body. Law takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dragan Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Capoeira.
Capoeira stuns Law with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A big left from Capoeira misses.
Law lands with a straight right. Capoeira didn't see that one coming.

Capoeira tries to clinch but Law is having none of it.

Capoeira gets caught napping as Law dives in and scores a takedown. Capoeira manages to retain guard.
Law prevents Capoeira from getting back to his feet.

Law is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Capoeira has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Law works to advance to full mount. Capoeira defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Capoeira somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Law walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Law shoots in and bounces Capoeira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Capoeira can do anything to dispel that myth.

Law wants to pass the guard but Capoeira is keeping the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Capoeira is looking to stand up but Law isn't so interested in that idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Law tries to free his leg and advance position but Capoeira is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Capoeira leaves Law with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Capoeira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Law manages to avoid it.

Law decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Capoeira blocking the ground and pound attempt from Law.
Law tries to pass to full mount but Capoeira defends it.

Law is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Law is trying to work for a kimura but Capoeira is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Law throwing shots but Capoeira is blocking nicely.
Law wants to lay and pray for a moment but Capoeira keeps working.
Law thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Law looks to land a strike but Capoeira avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Law postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Capoeira is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Law, into his guard.
Capoeira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Law. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Law is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Capoeira is aware though and is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Law looking for a guillotine here but Capoeira defends easily.
Capoeira wants to stand but Law has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Law has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Capoeira doesn't defend quickly enough and Law has managed to lock this one up! Can Capoeira escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Law on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dragan Law!
An out of breath Dragan Law thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
