Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Belshiknolav!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Goodman!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman dives in for a single leg takedown but Belshiknolav sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Goodman blocks an uppercut.
Goodman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Belshiknolav misses with a punch on the inside.
Belshiknolav swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Goodman has Belshiknolav pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Belshiknolav manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ivan Belshiknolav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Goodman.

Belshiknolav breaks from the clinch.
Goodman fails with the takedown.
Goodman blocks a head kick by Belshiknolav.
Ivan Belshiknolav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goodman lands a nice shot to the body.
A solid body kick from Belshiknolav.
Goodman blocks the body kick.

Goodman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Belshiknolav is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Goodman is controlling him well.

Goodman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Belshiknolav tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belshiknolav has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Goodman has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Belshiknolav is defending well but eventually Goodman manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Belshiknolav has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Saul Goodman!
