Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Petrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrenko comes to the cage accompanied by Bro Hymm/ Pennywise. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko throws a series of punches but Connor moves out of range.
Connor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Petrenko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Petrenko throws a low kick but Connor moves out of range easily.
Connor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Petrenko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Connor.
Petrenko tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Connor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Connor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Connor throws a lazy right hand but Petrenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Connor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
