The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ramirez.
Bob throws a looping overhand right but Ramirez ducks down to avoid it.
Bob turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bob looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bob moves out of range of the strikes.
Bob's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ramirez under the eye.
Bob swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ramirez counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bob lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Silent Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob misses with a straight left.
Ramirez loads up on a big right hand but Bob slips the punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ramirez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bob connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ramirez's hands.

and Bob makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ramirez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at CCF's Flying Circus in the buildup to the fight.
Ramirez looks to land a combination but Bob avoids it well.
Bob throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramirez on the side of the head.

Ramirez is looking to break free of the clinch but Bob has double underhooks.

Ramirez has had enough of the clinch but Bob keeps him there for the moment.
Bob lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Bob has Ramirez pressed against the cage, preventing Ramirez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ramirez is looking to break free of the clinch but Bob has double underhooks.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Bob.
Ramirez prevents a body shot from Bob.
Bob lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Bob lands an elbow inside that Ramirez shrugs off.


Ramirez is rocked!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bob.
Oh Ramirez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bob creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ramirez's defenses.

Ramirez is pressed against the cage. Bob pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Ramirez! Two more big strikes from Bob and Ramirez crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Silent Bob!
During a confident post fight interview, Silent Bob thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
