Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Goyahkla Bendonkohe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polo has chosen On The Floor as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Goyahkla Bendonkohe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Polo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Polo gets a double leg takedown into Bendonkohe's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Polo wants to control from the top but Bendonkohe keeps moving.
Bendonkohe is looking to sweep but instead, Polo has passed into half guard.
Polo is trying to control the action in half guard but Bendonkohe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bendonkohe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bendonkohe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Polo defends it easily.

We've been informed that Polo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Goyahkla Bendonkohe will probably get the nod.

Bendonkohe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Polo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bendonkohe but great work by Polo.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bendonkohe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
