Selmy comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - X Gon Give It To Ya . Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kid Rock - Cocky. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selmy fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Selmy's head but Selmy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jones looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Selmy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Selmy.
Selmy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Selmy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Arstan Selmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Selmy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Selmy gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones throws a lazy right hand but Selmy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Selmy's shoulder, as Selmy tries to avoid the shot.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Selmy.
Selmy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Selmy ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Selmy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Selmy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jones might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jones has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Jones is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Selmy like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Selmy from another fist facial!

Nathan Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Just Fight (Everything 7$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
