Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timofey Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kamaedzitca - Колазварl. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Cottero.
Boyko clinches.
Boyko throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Boyko lands a left hand.
Cottero misses with a hook to the ribs.
Boyko blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

With the fighters up against the cage, Boyko throws an elbow but misses.

Boyko throws out a loose jab but Cottero uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cottero goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Boyko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cottero was well out of range. Poor timing from Boyko.
Boyko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cottero connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boyko scrambles back to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Boyko 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cottero tries a head kick but it misses.
Timofey Boyko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cottero throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cottero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boyko moves away.
Boyko throws a front kick aimed at Cottero's knee but Cottero avoids it well.
Cottero takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cottero comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Boyko misses with a looping right.
Boyko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Boyko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cottero throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cottero misses with a head kick.

Cottero fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boyko has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boyko fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boyko loads up on a big right hand but Cottero slips the punch.

Cottero throws a body shot but no joy.

Cottero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boyko moves away.

Nice straight punches there by Boyko. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boyko.
Cottero sizes up Boyko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boyko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boyko tries to close the distance and clinch but Cottero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Cottero misses the target.
Boyko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boyko tries to land a front kick but Cottero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cottero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boyko throws out the jab.
Cottero takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Timofey Boyko will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cottero has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Boyko.

and Cottero makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cottero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boyko manages to avoid it.
Cottero is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyko finish him?
Cottero throws a lazy head kick
and as Cottero loses concentration momentarily, Boyko counters with a picture perfect head kick! Cottero goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
