Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Norris Man - When Your Time Is Up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris moves into the clinch.
Cottero can't find room to land a body shot as Norris controls the action.
Cottero swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Norris has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cottero lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Norris backwards.
Norris lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cottero lands with a light punch inside.

Cottero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Norris with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cottero to score with a decent uppercut.
Cottero tries to land a front kick but Norris steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Tommy Cottero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norris's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Norris duly obliges.

Norris lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cottero throws a punch but it's blocked by Norris.

Norris drops Cottero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cottero looks back up at him and smiles so Norris waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Norris weaves into range and cracks Cottero right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Cottero goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Norris is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sub Norris!
During a confident post fight interview, Sub Norris thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
