Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Bradman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tae Jin Kang!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradman blocks a head kick by Kang.
A head kick by Kang misses
and Bradman counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bradman throws a head kick that misses.
Bradman cracks the inside of Kang's front leg.
Kang misses with a takedown
and Bradman counters with an outside leg kick.
Kang tries to close the distance and clinch but Bradman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bradman.
Bradman throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kang misses with a head kick.
Kang blocks a head kick by Bradman.
Kang walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bradman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kang fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kang wants to stay close but Bradman steps back to make room for something. Kang seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Bradman and Kang drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Don Bradman!
A very excited looking Don Bradman rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
